Following the departure of the Rev. Dr. Charlie Smith at the end of June 2020, the Session authorized working with the HolyCow! Consulting firm to help us plan our future. HolyCow! Has worked with more than 3,000 churches in every state except Hawaii. The assessment tool FPC used was designed to provide a clear picture of who we are as a church and what directions are most important for our future. The assessment survey provides key indicators of our congregational health along with areas of challenge and potential growth. Members of the congregation were asked to complete a survey on-line. In September and again in October, Emily Swanson from HolyCow! met with the Session on-line to review the survey and to interpret the results.
